With a detached double garage and spacious sunroom, this 3,400 square foot property is constructed from durisol-insulated concrete, reclaimed timber, and a mix of new and aged siding to present a well-weathered exterior.
Inside, the interior support beams and trimming are both reclaimed from Montana sources. Designed to provide a quiet, calming environment for the property’s owners, Paradise Cabin’s interior is dominated by large picture windows and lofty ceilings.
A Montana-style fishing retreat through and through, this hilltop property was one of our favorite projects thanks to the owner’s emphasis on low-maintenance, high-efficiency reclaimed and recycled materials and we couldn’t be more proud of the end results. The architects are Thor Arnold and Gary Zimmer of Zimtor Architecture.
